This is no April Fool's Joke...We went on a safari! First, we flew from Visakhapatnam to Bangalore. On the second day we traveled with two other (fun) couples by car. Our knowledgeable driver treated us to a few side trips so we could act like tourists. He would also stop whenever anyone wanted to take a picture! We finally arrived at our destination, the Cicada-Kabini Resort. We found it peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Our first exciting adventure was a boat ride on the Kabini River. And we arose early the next morning for a jeep safari in the Rajiv Gandhi National Park. After three days of R&R we returned to Bangalore via the beautiful city of Mysore and then reluctantly back to reality and our little apt. in the city. And, out of all of us, guess who was the only one who saw a tiger? ... our driver!

Well, I just read your Christmas letter (talented kids!) and caught up on your blog. Love the pictures...what beautiful places you get to go to even if planes do get shot down and elephants are camera shy. Thanks so much for sharing. We have friends who had a pre-arranged mission but when the letter came it said they were going to the temple in the Philippines instead of Nauvoo. Sound familiar? Good for you all.
